Machined pieced and quilted replica of a quilt made by an enslaved woman by Phyllis. Imported from the Congo as a young girl of 12 or 13-year-old, Phyllis became the plantation cook. She was also recognized for considered crafting skills in carpentry, blacksmithing as well as sewing. Cotton Fabrics
